How Tainure handles your notes

Tainure is run by its founder, Mathias Wendlinger, in the European Union. For anything about your data, write to beta@tainure.com. You will get an answer within a week.

• When you ask for an invite: your first name, email, company, role, team size and the jobs you ranked on the form. This is how we decide who joins the beta and what to build first.
• In your workspace:the names of the people you write about, your notes and pasted sessions, what Tainure extracts from them, your agenda items and checklists, your messages to the assistant and its replies, and, if you connect a calendar, the day's events.
• To keep you signed in: one signed session cookie for your workspace, valid for thirty days.
• To understand usage: which screens and buttons are used, counted without the words in your notes or the names of your team (see below).

You, with your address and password. Every workspace is its own database; nothing is pooled across people or companies, and there is no screen at Tainure that opens a workspace. The founder holds the keys to the infrastructure, as any operator does, and opens a workspace's database only to fix a problem you asked about, and tells you when that happens.

• Your workspace database, and the registry of workspaces and invites, are hosted by Turso in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1).
• The application runs on Vercel, with its server functions in Frankfurt.
• Session replays and usage counts are stored by PostHog on its European cloud.

When Tainure prepares a briefing, extracts what a session said, or answers you in the chat, it sends the relevant notes to Anthropic's API, which runs Claude models in the United States. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, what is sent is not used to train their models. Nothing is sent when you are not using the product.

Product analytics measure usage, not content: which screens are opened and which buttons are pressed. Session replays are on inside workspaces with every piece of text and every field masked, so a replay shows the shape of a screen, never a word of it. The public site is measured without cookies. When something crashes, the error's class and its location in the code are reported with a reference number, never the message or your notes.

• Vercel (hosting, functions in Frankfurt).
• Turso (databases, Ireland).
• Anthropic (the AI models, United States).
• PostHog (usage analytics, error reports and masked replays, European Union).
• Resend (the emails Tainure sends you, such as your welcome link and password resets).
• Google (the founder's mailbox, where each invite request is announced; and Google Calendar, read-only, if you connect it).
• Porkbun (the domain, and the forwarding of mail sent to beta@tainure.com).

A file you attach is read once, in memory, for its text, and then discarded. It is never stored. A calendar link or a Google Calendar connection is read for the day's events only; the link and the connection tokens stay in your workspace database and are removed when you disconnect.

• Your workspace is kept for as long as you are in the beta. When you leave, or when you ask, its database is destroyed and your entries on the ideas board are removed.
• Welcome links, reset links and the copies of the emails that carried them are purged at the next sign-up or reset on the platform, and at most thirty days after they were sent.
• The database host keeps point-in-time backups for a limited window, after which a deleted workspace is gone from them too.
• Invite requests are kept for the duration of the beta, to remember who asked.

Everything in your workspace is yours to take at any time: “Download my data”, in the account menu, gives you every person, note, extraction, agenda item, checklist and conversation as one readable file. To correct what Tainure holds about you outside the workspace, or to have it all deleted, write to beta@tainure.com; we act within thirty days. Deleting your workspace ends your access to it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
